Daily Bread

I explore themes of success and culture in this non-linear narrative re-contextualizing found images and document scans from the University of Pennsylvania archive. Inspired by the 2017-2018 viral phrase "let's get this bread," I paired vintage bread advertisements with snippets taken from 1970s-era documents written by late businessman David J. Mahoney in order to present a satirical statement on how a woman should find success, or better yet, get that bread.
